Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and support less experienced educators in the classroom; exemplify best practices and provide constructive feedback.
  • Oversee classroom dynamics, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating educational atmosphere.
  • Act as a role model, utilizing a growth mindset to cultivate young minds and instill a passion for learning.
  • Execute our unique L.E.A.P. Curriculum, catering to the individual needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  • Establish a secure and nurturing space where children can engage in play and learning.
  • Maintain open communication with families, sharing updates on their children's experiences and milestones through various channels.
  • Contribute to the success of the center by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet objectives related to enrollment and engagement.
  • Foster relationships with families and colleagues, creating a vibrant environment where play and education coexist harmoniously.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: 1 year of professional teaching experience; minimum of six months required.
  • Preferred: Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field; High school diploma/GED required.
  • Proven understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific requirements for the position.
