About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect, Lead to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our cloud computing and DevOps team, you will oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of cloud architecture and design for large-scale cloud-based solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions with existing infrastructure
  • Develop and implement DevOps practices and tools to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior architects and engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture with cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and Google Cloud in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments
  • 5+ years of experience with leading multi-disciplinary solutioning for cloud-based efforts
  • Experience with leading architecture for large engagements, including legacy and cloud system deployments
  • Experience with end-to-end cloud solution architecture, design, and deployment
  • Experience with architecting and implementing highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant Cloud-based solutions and Cloud-based development
  • Experience with leading DevOps teams and implementing automation tools and processes
  • Experience with providing technical guidance to other architects and engineers
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions, network architecture, and security principles
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • CompTIA Sec+ Certification
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Certification, AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification, Google Cloud Architect Certification, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification
