About the Role

Gray Construction is seeking a highly skilled VDC Manager to join our team in Lexington, KY. As a key member of our preconstruction and construction teams, you will be responsible for ensuring our Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and processes are leading to project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up projects, including models and cloud-based hubs, to facilitate collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot the creation of federated models and their corresponding exports and translations.
  • Provide technology-related services and knowledge to Operations, Marketing, Preconstruction, and Business Acquisition departments.
  • Work with owners, architects, and engineers to facilitate collaboration and communication during preconstruction and construction phases.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently, and as part of a team.
  • Train new team members and ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a degree from a Technical College.
  • 8+ years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with a focus on BIM and VDC.
  • Advanced understanding of construction principles and Autodesk Design Suite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical presence in the Lexington, KY area, with occasional travel required.
