Job Summary:

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, driving organizational growth and operations. This key leadership role will oversee administrative, financial, legal, IT, HR, and infrastructure functions, ensuring timely financial data preparation and advising senior staff on budget trends and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Review and approve financial reporting materials, cash flow forecasts, and metrics in collaboration with the controller.
  • Manage HR and IT functions, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Oversee ongoing pledge payments, maintaining a strong financial foundation.

Administrative Leadership and Management:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, providing guidance on financial and administrative processes, including HR, payroll, and benefits functions.
  • Collaborate with donors and the Board of Directors, fostering strong relationships.
  • Solve complex issues, manage records, and drive technology adoption for improved efficiency.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of senior professional experience, demonstrate financial leadership, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA certification and experience in financial management within the nonprofit sector are preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and technology skills are essential for success in this role.

Compensation:

  • Base salary range: $130,000 - $150,000, plus benefits.
