At Dunbar Community Counseling Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Specialist Consultant to join our team in West and Southwest Philadelphia. This rewarding role will involve providing behavioral intervention consultation services to support children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for a mental health professional with a doctoral or master's degree to work as part of an interagency team. As a Behavior Specialist Consultant, you will collaborate with treatment teams to develop and implement individualized plans that address the unique needs of each child or adolescent.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct observations in home, school, or community settings to inform the development of intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to design and implement evidence-based interventions that promote positive behavior change.
  • Provide consultation and training to teachers, family members, and other support staff to ensure effective implementation of intervention plans.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for revised intervention strategies.
Requirements
  • Doctoral or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, ABA, social work, education, counseling).
  • Licensed as a Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
