Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Program. As an IBHS specialist, you will work closely with children, adolescents, and their families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote positive behavioral change.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with parents and treatment team members to transfer skills and collect data on behavior interventions.
  • Develop effective treatment plan goals with measurable objectives to promote change and progress.
  • Design and implement an effective behavior plan and ongoing data collection to assess behavior change and modify treatment as needed.
  • Record all case progress notes to maintain accurate history of treatment events and client progress.
  • Determine clinical need for special evaluations and services in conjunction with child/adolescent, family, and other involved professionals.
  • Conduct intake appointments with families and collect relevant information for assessment process.
  • Conduct observations of children across settings of home, school, and community.
  • Complete assessments with teachers, parents, and children to clarify a child's diagnosis.
  • Develop clinical documents summarizing observational data collected, assessments completed, and supporting continuing treatment of identified behaviors.

Requirements

A competitive salary range for this position is $ $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. This estimate reflects the average compensation for similar positions in the industry, considering factors such as education, certifications, and location. Please note that actual salaries may vary depending on individual circumstances.
