Job Overview

As an IT Business Relationship Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business by leveraging technology to enhance Supply Chain and Sales processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
    • Develop strong relationships with business leaders, understanding their strategic goals, pain points, and technology needs.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying opportunities for technology-driven improvements.
    • Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Solution Strategy and Planning:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technology roadmaps, ensuring they align with overall business strategies.
    • Assess the impact of technology changes on business processes and operations.
    • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and resource availability.
  • Requirements Gathering and Solution Design:
    • Elicit and document business requirements related to Finance, Analytics, SharePoint, End User Computing.
    • Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT teams.
    • Work closely with SAP and Spentech Supply Chain experts to design effective solutions.
  • SAP and Applications Systems Enhancement and Support:
    • Responsible for day-to-day support and for projects related specifically to the Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Materials Management (MM) modules of SAP.
    • Responsible for day-to-day support and enhancement of applications (Salesforce, AspenTech) connected to SAP and proprietary MS-SQL based enterprise business solution developed by Delrin.
  • Project Management and Delivery:
    • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring successful delivery of technology projects.
    • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks.
    • Coordinate testing, training, and change management efforts.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to evaluate, select, and implement technology solutions.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Supply Chain and Sales functions.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master degree, preferably in Engineering or equivalent through experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of application support experience.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of SalesForce, strong background in Computer Science.
  • Location: Remote position based in Eastern or Central US time zone. US home based only.
