We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take the lead in our Miami, FL office. This role presents an excellent opportunity for career advancement while also allowing you to mentor and uplift fellow team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical designs in line with departmental procedures and client-specific standards.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Principal, Project Managers, and Electrical Team Leader to strategize work plans and manage deliverables within budget constraints.
  • Maintain awareness of project timelines, status updates, and technical challenges. Review all designs prior to client submission with supervisory oversight.
  • Lead the technical team in delivering designs for various clients while providing support on both technical and administrative matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Codes and Standards throughout team activities.
  • Continuously enhance the quality of deliverables, communication, team morale, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee project budgets and scope of work.
  • Conduct Construction Administration tasks, including site visits, field reports, responding to RFIs, and reviewing shop drawings.

Operations and Staff Development:

  • Effectively manage technical tasks and project efforts within the Electrical Team, ensuring alignment with client expectations and budgetary constraints.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel, Revit, SKM, AGI 32, and AMPCALC 4.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE preferred) and licensed or eligible for licensure in MA within one year.
  • 12 to 15 years of experience in MEP consulting, design-build, architectural, or construction firms.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; LEED accreditation preferred.
