We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our team in our Miami office. As a key member of our Electrical Department, you will be responsible for executing electrical designs, working closely with project managers and team leaders to plan and deliver projects, and maintaining a strong understanding of project schedules, status, and technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute electrical designs in accordance with our department's procedures and standards, as well as client-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to plan and deliver projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Monitor project schedules, status, and technical issues, and provide regular updates to supervisors and department heads.
  • Lead technical teams and deliver designs for various clients, providing support to assigned staff on technical and administrative matters.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all associated codes and standards, ensuring compliance in all team activities.
  • Continuously improve team deliverables, communications, attitude, and efficiency.
  • Manage budgets and scope of work, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Perform construction administration tasks, including field visits, issuance of field reports, responding to RFIs, and reviewing shop drawings.
Operations and Staff Development
  • Actively manage technical tasks and project efforts within the Electrical Team, balancing deliverables, client expectations, and budget based on allocated fees.
Essential Skills and Requirements
  • Exceptional knowledge of Excel, Revit, SKM, AGI 32, and AMPCALC 4.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE preferred) and licensed or ability to attain licensure in MA within one year.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP consulting, design-build, architectural, or construction companies.
  • PE highly preferred; LEED preferred.
