About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Manage patient registration, scheduling, and billing processes
  • Collect and process patient payments, including cash, credit cards, and insurance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and medical information
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and services
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical office or front desk role
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer skills
