Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees, administers, and enhances cloud infrastructures, ensuring ongoing enhancement and swift resolution of issues. Utilizes advanced principles, theories, and methodologies, contributing to the formulation of innovative concepts. Tackles exceptionally intricate challenges and delivers highly creative solutions. Operates with considerable autonomy in decision-making and guides or mentors team members in both operational and technical skills.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Cloud infrastructures, including AWS or Azure
  • 8+ years of experience in system administration for Windows or Linux Operating Systems
  • Proven experience in leading teams of operational staff in managing existing cloud or on-premises production systems
  • Experience in directing the migration, architecture, construction, and deployment of systems and applications on Cloud platforms
  • Proficient in monitoring, maintaining, and securing critical infrastructure components
  • Strong understanding of fundamental system administration principles
  • Top Secret clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree necessary
  • Capability to obtain 8570 IAT II or III Certification, including Security+ within 3 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading a team of cloud specialists on projects or initiatives
  • Familiarity with DoD accreditation processes
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure cost forecasting and management
  • Ability to navigate complex security requirements while ensuring compliance
  • AWS or Azure Certification preferred

Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
