The AWS Global Support team collaborates with industry leaders, emphasizing that exceptional support is vital for customer success. Our mission is to assist customers in building mission-critical applications utilizing AWS services.
The AWS Cloud Optimization Success team is in search of a Senior Solutions Architect for Cloud Guidance who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining architectural best practices in alignment with the AWS Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected Frameworks. Our goal is to empower customers to comprehend how these best practices can be integrated into their unique business environments, ensuring they can adopt cloud solutions that are secure, reliable, efficient, and sustainable while delivering significant business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor, addressing complex challenges faced by AWS customers, from emerging cloud-native startups to established global enterprises.
- Serve as a Thought Leader, guiding a community of Subject Matter Experts to develop content that provides actionable insights for AWS customers.
- Continuously gather feedback from customers to deeply understand their needs and technical hurdles, ensuring they maximize the value derived from AWS.
- Collaborate in the creation, validation, and publication of customer-facing technical content, including reference architectures and best practices.
- Engage with AWS teams, Professional Services, and AWS Partners to deliver optimal value to our customers.
- Influence adherence to AWS guidance among customers and internal stakeholders.
- Present advanced guidance content to customers and lead educational sessions to support their digital transformation journey.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to define product requirements and enhance platform capabilities.
- Lead significant organizational initiatives, contributing to strategic planning and execution.
- Manage programs by creating and validating strategic roadmaps with defined milestones.
- Support customer implementations and capabilities while mentoring AWS field team members.
- Contribute to team growth by participating in hiring, coaching, and mentoring efforts.
