In the rapidly evolving landscape of cloud technology, we are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer who can architect robust cloud solutions tailored to meet diverse client requirements. Your expertise in cloud computing will be essential in developing innovative cloud-based architectures that leverage the full potential of cloud capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions to address complex challenges faced by clients.
- Utilize your technical knowledge to enhance client environments with the latest cloud technologies.
- Conduct thorough research to recommend appropriate tools and solutions based on the existing infrastructure.
- Guide and mentor team members in overcoming obstacles during the cloud migration process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering.
- At least 3 years of proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data applications.
- Proficient in AWS services and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
- Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Must possess a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GitLab and automating DevSecOps processes.
- Familiarity with Terraform.
- Experience in developing scalable ETL and ELT workflows for analytics.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies.
- Experience with aerospace client programs, particularly the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program.
Clearance Requirements:
Applicants must be able to pass a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
