Role Summary

RedMatter Solutions is in search of a proficient and seasoned Azure Cloud Architect to enhance our innovative team. In this role, you will utilize your extensive knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and various Azure services to spearhead cloud adoption and optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture Development: Craft and execute scalable, secure, and dependable cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure, adhering to industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • Management of Azure AD: Architect and oversee Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) solutions, ensuring robust identity and access management (IAM) protocols, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Implementation of Cloud Solutions: Direct the rollout of Azure-based solutions, encompassing virtual networks, virtual machines, cloud services, storage, and databases. Guarantee seamless integration with pre-existing systems and applications.
  • Performance Enhancement: Monitor and refine cloud resources to achieve cost-effectiveness, high availability, and optimal performance. Execute strategies for scaling and automating cloud infrastructure.
  • Security and Compliance Assurance: Ensure cloud solutions conform to security best practices and relevant regulatory standards. Implement security measures, including network security groups (NSGs), encryption, and threat detection.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Generate thorough technical documentation, including architecture designs, configuration specifics, and operational procedures. Prepare reports on system performance, security status, and compliance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and security, to ensure alignment with organizational policies and project objectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Azure services.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions.
  • Strong grasp of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are advantageous.
