Job Overview:

The Lead Bartender plays a crucial role in overseeing bar operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. This position requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and a deep understanding of beverage service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise bar operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of supplies.
  • Guide the bar team in crafting innovative cocktails, introducing new seasonal offerings at least three times a year.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for bar staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance service quality.
  • Collaborate with spirits vendors to curate a diverse and exclusive cocktail menu.
  • Develop and manage a Whiskey/Cocktail Cart, offering unique tableside service.
  • Train new bartenders and conduct educational sessions on cocktails and spirits for the entire team.
  • Maintain the cocktail menu, updating it regularly to reflect current offerings.
  • Manage the POS system, ensuring accurate product listings and availability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Professional demeanor suitable for a luxury environment.
  • Minimum of two years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale setting.
  • Ability to train and inspire staff while fostering a positive work culture.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage concepts and service practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using POS systems.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with vendors and guests.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Ability to work in varying conditions of noise and temperature.
