Position Overview:

The Installation Team Leader will take charge of a skilled crew responsible for the setup and configuration of various food service equipment. This role involves the adjustment, alignment, assembly, calibration, inspection, lubrication, and testing of commercial food preparation machinery, alongside troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues. The selected individual will adhere to all relevant service policies and procedures while maintaining regular communication with the office to receive assignments and discuss service challenges with management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute on-site operations to install, program, disassemble, and reassemble equipment as required.
  • Engage with clients ahead of the installation date to confirm scheduling.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to installation personnel regarding work tasks, appropriate tool usage, and overall job execution.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and services; resolve issues in a manner that prioritizes the customer's best interests.
  • Oversee vehicle inventory and maintain its cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, trade school certification, or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial installation.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic skills, including knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and repair methodologies.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; capable of driving for extended periods.
  • Able to travel and participate in company training programs.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools; capable of reading blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Understanding of mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigerant plumbing and soldering practices.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
