Job Title: Senior Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary:
GPAC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Regional Sales Manager to oversee and coordinate all sales activities in the Central US region. This role requires a strong understanding of the pet food industry and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with national and regional pet specialty retailers
Develop and maintain relationships with key pet specialty distributors in the Western Region
Train and engage with distributor sales teams to build and grow the company's share of business
Drive market strategies and brand awareness to increase sales growth and profitability
Close new sales by building rapport with potential accounts and identifying their needs
Work collaboratively with the USA Sales team on new sales opportunities
Negotiate profitable pricing and/or terms of sales
Build and maintain a network of sources for new sales leads
Provide and report sales forecasts, results, and status of accounts and leads for the region or division
Analyze sales accounts by reviewing current and potential volumes of distributors within defined areas
Manage and train regional sales teams and Key Account Managers
Manage expenses to stay within budgeted guidelines
Keep up-to-date with competition by gathering and researching market trends

Requirements:
Some college or Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience
Minimum 6-10 years of experience in the pet food industry or consumer packaged goods environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain business relationships with customers
Aptitude to travel daily or weekly and spend most of the day in a vehicle
Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills
Must hold an unrestricted driver's license and a driving record with no more than three (3) violations in the last two (2) years; no more than one (1) 'at-fault' accident in the past three (3) years
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Ability to commute to the office
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
