We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Yugo. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our student housing communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with General Manager: Collaborate with your General Manager to ensure seamless property operations and provide exceptional resident experiences.
  • Repair and Enhance Communities: Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure our communities are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Build Relationships with Residents: Foster positive relationships with residents by providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Manage Service Requests: Effectively manage service requests and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution and resident satisfaction.
  • Prepare and Execute Turn: Partner with your property manager to ensure a smooth and efficient turn process, including vendor management and team coordination.
  • Tend to Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and minimize costly repairs.
  • Notice the Details: Conduct daily inspections to ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained, and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of Hands-on General Maintenance Experience: Proven experience in general maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • HVAC Experience: Experience working with HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal): Possess EPA certification for handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
  • Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in supervising a team of maintenance professionals.
  • Availability to Work a Flexible Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in Working with Computers: Proficiency in using computers, including word processing, calendar management, and property management software.
  • Valid Driver's License and/or Access to Reliable Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
  • Carbon Literacy Certification or Willingness to Undertake Training: Possess carbon literacy certification or be willing to undertake training.
