About the Role:

CSC Management - Lexington is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our communities and providing a safe and well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance tasks personally and delegate to assistants, overseeing and inspecting work performed by assistants.
  • Institute and manage systems for handling resident service requests, completing work orders within 24 hours as much as possible.
  • Schedule maintenance personnel in conjunction with the manager to ensure maintenance is available for emergency purposes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings with the entire staff, maintaining and communicating HAZCOM standards, keeping SDS sheets current and readily accessible.
  • Be aware of the condition of the physical property throughout the community and immediately correct hazardous conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, expenditures, apartment make-ready status, work-in-progress, etc.
  • Schedule and perform minor and routine maintenance on all appropriate equipment on a regular basis.
  • Inspect and maintain all tools in excellent condition.
  • Develop and support all maintenance staff members, instilling a "safety first" attitude with all staff members.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in property maintenance or an equivalent field, with HVAC and CPO certification.
  • Experience with distressed properties, coordinating vendors, contractors, and capex projects.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with weekends as circumstances warrant, on-call on a rotating basis, and for emergencies.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of various tools, equipment, and machinery.
