Key Responsibilities

As the strategic leader for Business Escrow Solutions, you will occupy a pivotal senior leadership role, tasked with implementing the strategic initiatives of the division and steering your team towards achieving the Bank's annual growth and customer retention objectives.

You will identify potential avenues for new market segments, innovative product enhancements, or strategies to bolster revenue and deposit growth. You will present proposals and financial analyses to the Managing Director.

Upon receiving approval to advance with strategies, product enhancements, or new market segments, you will take charge of comprehending the market dynamics for the new segment, the sales approach, marketing needs, and the profitability of the segment.

Your role will involve overseeing transactions within the new segment, and after acquiring the necessary expertise, you will coordinate training for Relationship Managers and sales teams to deepen market penetration.

You will be responsible for grasping the complexities of our existing products and contributing to the development of marketing materials that support the marketing strategy for both new and existing product features.

In your capacity as a relationship manager, you will dedicate a significant portion of your time to nurturing your own network, executing transactions, and maintaining relationships with clients in your portfolio.


Qualifications

Accountable for your own portfolio or assigned transactions, focusing on the standard relationship management aspects of your role.

Identify new or enhanced product features and collaborate with internal teams to implement the tactical strategies outlined by the Managing Director.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of all current product features to facilitate further education for relationship managers, sales teams, and internal BES teams.

Contribute to marketing efforts for both current and new features or market segments.

Identify sales opportunities related to new segments that have been proposed and approved by the Managing Director and Senior Management team.

May be tasked with creating presentations and training materials for teams based on the identification or execution of strategies.

Foster strong, collaborative relationships with other leaders, banking partners, and related departments.

Coordinate the vetting of new opportunities through legal channels.

Work with BES analytics managers to ensure that KPIs for new segments are monitored, new procedures are communicated, and internal staffing models are updated.

May supervise and direct the activities of newly hired or assigned staff, performing supervisory tasks such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and candidate interviews; develop work schedules; provide necessary training and coaching as applicable.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years of direct client-facing experience in M&A/Escrow.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills, utilized to cultivate effective relationships within BES.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Demonstrated ability to compile, organize, prepare, and maintain records, reports, and information.

Exhibit sensitivity to and respect for a diverse workforce.

Comfortable developing presentations and facilitating group discussions.

Proven leadership experience demonstrating success in fulfilling the roles and responsibilities outlined above.
