Program Principal, Government Services

Resource Innovations is seeking an experienced professional to lead the deployment of Inflation Reduction Act programs within the state. As the Program Principal, you will be responsible for building and managing a team focused on delivering energy efficiency and demand response programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relations and engage in project co-management, presenting results and developing new scopes of work.
  • Ensure quality of services and products, contract compliance, and performance measures while maintaining project deliverable schedules.
  • Quantify needs and secure project-specific staffing and resource requirements.
  • Maintain quality control of deliverable products, demonstrating technical excellence and clarity.
  • Oversee financial responsibility and adherence to budgets, revenue targets, and profitability.
  • Identify and support marketing opportunities to secure new business.
  • Provide accurate forecasts to support corporate reporting.
  • Work in partnership with other Sr. Managers to ensure knowledge management and program management best practices.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and oversee staff development.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required due to IRA funding stipulations.
  • Must be located in the greater Columbus, OH area.
  • A Bachelor's degree in energy, business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 10+ years of experience managing energy efficiency and demand response programs.
  • 3+ years of experience working with utilities and knowledge of energy efficiency programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Advanced energy-related certifications, such as CEM Certification.
  • A master's degree or MBA.
