Job Title: Principal Infrastructure Engineer Windows OS

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Windows OS to join our agile product team at Raytheon. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting infrastructure solutions, provisioning platform, storage, and networking resources, and supporting the development and implementation of traditional compute/network/storage deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage company and industry best practices to develop and communicate infrastructure solutions
  • Provide direction on development and automation of products, including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts
  • Assist in training junior engineers to support program operations
  • Assist with integration of platform provisioning tools, such as VMware
  • Design and develop build/test pipelines and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability
  • Ensure consistency of COTS stack and versioning across the platform
Requirements:
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance
  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics
  • 8 years of related work experience
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies, Windows Server 2012 R2, and programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, and Go
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Administrative fluency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware solutions
  • Experience with troubleshooting applications and infrastructure on Linux-based operating systems
  • Extensive Linux development experience (RHEL 6)
  • General experience in networks, SAN/NAS designs, and implementation
