Job Title: Principal Infrastructure Engineer Windows OS

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Windows OS to join our agile product team at Raytheon. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting infrastructure solutions, provisioning platform, storage, and networking resources, and supporting the development and implementation of traditional compute/network/storage deployments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Server 2012 r2+ and programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, and Go. Additionally, they will have experience with Agile Development Methodologies, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMWare solutions, and troubleshooting applications and infrastructure on Linux-based operating systems.

The Principal Engineer will work closely with the Program's Sr. to design and develop infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the program. They will also be responsible for training junior engineers and assisting with the integration of the selected platform provisioning tool, such as VMWare.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps and Service Mesh technologies and will be able to communicate effectively with the team to develop and implement infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect infrastructure solutions
  • Provision platform, storage, and networking resources
  • Support the development and implementation of traditional compute/network/storage deployments
  • Train junior engineers
  • Assist with the integration of the selected platform provisioning tool
  • Develop and implement infrastructure solutions using DevOps/DevSecOps and Service Mesh technologies
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of related work experience
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server 2012 r2+
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, and Go
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMWare solutions
  • Experience with troubleshooting applications and infrastructure on Linux-based operating systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Ansible Automation and yaml file structure
  • Experience with Cisco IOS/Fiber Switch Familiarity
  • Experience with Cisco Server Hardware/ILO Remote Management
  • Experience with deployment of SSL Certificates in Windows and Linux
  • Experience with Oracle Database Management
Security Clearance:

A S. government issued TS/SCI/(CI Poly Preferred) security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
