About the Role
As a Certified Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients with both acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the RT Supervisor or Team Leader, your duties will encompass:

  • Administering medical gases and aerosol therapies.
  • Conducting blood specimen analysis and patient testing.
  • Operating and maintaining various respiratory equipment.
  • Providing mechanical ventilation and maintaining artificial airways.
  • Assisting in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and offering patient education.
  • Monitoring patient responses to therapy and documenting all relevant information.
  • Ensuring safety and infection control standards are upheld.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support within six months of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
  • NRP certification within six months of hire.
  • Preferred: One year of recent clinical experience.
