We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Nurse to join our team at HCA Midwest Hospice & Family Care. As a Hospice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families during the end-of-life journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, recognizing standards of practice and establishing company policies and procedures.
- Follow the plan of care, provide treatments, and work collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
- Participate in coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group, including Hospice Aide, Director of Clinical Services –Hospice, and Chaplain.
- Provide appropriate pain/symptom management.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Registered Nurse
- Driver's License
- Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree
