About the Role
As a Certified Respiratory Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments, including evaluation of breath sounds and airway conditions.
  • Performing diagnostic tests to determine the necessity and effectiveness of respiratory therapies.
  • Administering various respiratory treatments, including oxygen and aerosol therapies.
  • Assisting in the placement of artificial airways and managing mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitoring patient responses to therapies and intervening as necessary.
  • Transporting patients who require ventilatory support.
  • Responding to emergency situations to ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within six months of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within thirty days of employment.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification.
  • A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in a relevant field.
