Job Title: Shift Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Team Lead to join our team at Taco Cabana. As a Shift Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly employees to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
  • Team Management: Supervise and direct hourly employees to ensure they are meeting their job responsibilities and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Operations Management: Assist in planning and executing daily operations, including managing inventory, scheduling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to hourly employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their job responsibilities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with hourly employees, management, and customers to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
