Position Summary
The Senior Systems Engineer plays a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of Active Directory Services and Privileged Access Management systems within a hybrid infrastructure. This position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and security of our identity management systems while driving innovation in our operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational integrity of multiple Active Directory environments, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
- Implement proactive monitoring strategies for Active Directory security, focusing on threat detection and user behavior analytics.
- Manage the health and security of Privileged Access Management platforms, ensuring they meet organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Facilitate just-in-time and just-enough access protocols to balance security with user productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote best practices in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Engage in audit and compliance activities to uphold industry standards and regulations.
Identity Governance Focus
- Support the development and management of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Utilize advanced IGA tools to enhance security and compliance across the organization.
- Conduct testing and validation of new integrations and configurations, ensuring robust functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supporting and managing Active Directory in a hybrid environment.
- 5+ years of experience with Privileged Access Management platforms.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Proficient in scripting languages and automation tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Certifications related to IAM or Information Security are a plus.
Working Conditions
