Essential Qualifications:

Security Clearance Requirements:
Top Secret/SCI security clearance is mandatory at the time of hiring. Candidates selected will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is a requirement due to the nature of the work.

Role and Position Objectives:

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will engage in the analysis, design, development, and testing of advanced systems to ensure the seamless integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety, and other essential requirements in the overall engineering process.

Responsibilities encompass:
  • Requirements analysis and management
  • Functional and performance analysis
  • System design and trade studies
  • Systems integration and testing (verification)
  • Validation and interface definition studies of system components

You will also be involved in formulating operational concepts, conducting mission and risk analysis, and developing signal processing architecture along with overall system architecture.

Our systems frequently incorporate digital signal processing algorithms implemented in both hardware and software for space-based applications. Candidates with experience in digital signal processing algorithm development, particularly in statistical analysis of signal parameters, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with MATLAB for DSP, background in Radar Processing, and knowledge of Monte Carlo analysis or Phased Array/Beam Forming are advantageous.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:
  • Background in Electrical Engineering and/or Systems Engineering with a focus on digital signal processing
  • Experience in Agile development for hardware, software, or firmware
  • Familiarity with Digital Engineering/Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • Experience in Space Payloads
