Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate - Leader in Training to join our team at Buckle LLC. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and supporting the development of our sales floor leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly and engaging attitude, and consistently provide legendary service to each guest.
  • Sales Generation: Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise, recommend and select products based on customer needs and desires, and anticipate and fulfill customer needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
  • Visual Merchandising: Own and influence product through zone ownership, including product knowledge, placement, passion, and preference. Recognize and assign zones and projects to teammates daily with a specific learning goal in mind.
  • Operations: Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and utilize the planner to complete opening and closing checklists. Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership actions during segment, including awareness of guests in the store, ensuring they are being helped, and demonstrating how to get the guest involved with product.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and jump. Occasionally required to sit. Physical ability to lift and maneuver 30lbs throughout the store and backroom.
