Job Summary

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by handling register transactions, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Project a positive image of Westlake Ace Hardware by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Register Operations: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Store Appearance and Maintenance: Ensure the store is well-maintained, including the checkout area, aisles, and stockroom, and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
