Premier Disability Services is a leading provider of social security disability advocacy services. We assist clients in navigating the complex process of applying for disability benefits, from initial application to appeals and hearings.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Application Specialist to join our team based in Minneapolis, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with completing disability benefit applications over the phone, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct thorough interviews to gather necessary information about clients' disabilities and qualifications for benefits.
  • Demonstrate empathy and patience when interacting with clients, who may be experiencing significant stress and uncertainty.
  • Utilize multiple systems to complete the application process, including website, internal, and order management systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a call center environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy and patience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Windows OS, Internet, and associated software.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
