Morris Midwest-MN specializes in providing CNC machinery, tooling, accessories, and comprehensive engineering, installation, and maintenance support services to clients in the Midwest region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in pre-sales activities, including customer consultations, opportunity evaluations, machine assessments, and turnkey proposal development.
  • Generating precise cost estimates, drafting engineering reports, and interpreting technical plans and specifications.
  • Programming and configuring CNC lathes, vertical and horizontal mills, and Swiss-style lathes.
  • Creating and executing tailored demonstrations, while training clients on the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and multi-tasking machines.
  • Maintaining extensive technical knowledge of the product lines offered by the company.

Additional Duties:

  • Performing related tasks as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A solid hands-on machining background with a minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machinery.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and Okuma controls is advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of CAD/CAM software is essential.
  • Experience with MasterCam, Esprit, and Solidworks is beneficial.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated regional territory.
