Job Overview

The Advanced Reconditioning Technician III plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by meticulously preparing all cold beverage equipment for installation and ensuring all dispensing systems are set up correctly. This position supports various aspects of equipment services to uphold a high standard of customer service and assist the equipment services team in achieving its objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment for installation in accordance with established procedures, including inspection and setup of electrical systems, lower cabinets, upper cabinets, and inner doors.
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, including the application of appropriate decals, setting timers, pricing, and installing locks and asset tags.
  • Maintain, service, and repair refrigeration systems in alignment with established procedures, including refrigerant management and component replacement.
  • Ensure all equipment meets the highest quality standards and is prepared to customer specifications, including customized graphics and configurations.
  • Perform thorough cleaning and replace or repair parts as necessary, including the installation of ancillary items such as LED kits and shelves.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Follow procedures for accurate tracking of parts and labor, ensuring data is captured in mobile devices and updated in inventory systems.
  • Prepare equipment for installation by addressing surface blemishes and preparing for painting.
  • Execute masking and painting of equipment as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Basic technical, electrical, and troubleshooting knowledge along with mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks including squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of the soft drink industry and equipment services.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Hipot systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using tools such as plasma cutters and hand-held devices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Relevant experience of 1-3 years.
  • Fit test required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Refrigeration Level 1 License.
  • Experience with air gun painting.
  • Fit test required.

The work environment may vary, including exposure to different weather conditions and non-temperature controlled areas.
