Job Summary

US AMR-Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various electrical installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs at our clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on repair & maintenance work on electrical equipment, wiring, lighting, and associated components.
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including but not limited to: HVAC, Lighting, Emergency Power, Transfer Switches, Uninterruptable Power Sources (UPS) Generators, Vertical Transportation, Life Safety, and Building Automation Systems.
  • Use industry standard tools and adhere to all codes, laws, and regulations.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, and support in advanced electrical maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and hands-on repair guidance.
  • Execute JLL Quality control audits and inspections conducted throughout the territory and deficiency reports provided to supervisors.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED required; military service, union training, vocational or college education is preferred.
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Must successfully pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process before beginning employment.
  • Licensed electrician in Allen County or Fort Wayne city issued Journeyman License required.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of on-the-job electrical work experience in the industrial or commercial industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of electrical theory, safety procedures, and building codes.
  • Knowledge and use of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Building Management System (BMS) and Fire Life Safety systems.
  • Proficiency with using computer & software applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and comfortable using up to 30 foot ladders.
  • Ability to perform all work using the proper personnel protective equipment (PPE).
