Account Executive II

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive II to join our team in Michigan. As a key member of our client leadership team, you will be responsible for managing Aon's relationships with assigned clients, leading client service teams to identify and meet client needs, and driving the growth of a profitable book of business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day-to-day account management, including coordinating the execution of service activities and building relationships with clients.
  • Develops and analyzes program and coverage options across lines of business, including deductibles, retros, guaranteed cost, collateral, and accruals.
  • Draws comparisons and conclusions of different programs and communicates with clients to aid in decision-making.
  • Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and coverages across solution lines.
  • Works at a strategic level to cultivate relationships with clients and identifies and generates new and penetration business across solution lines.
  • Prepares and negotiates fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability in a value-based approach.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of Aon's resources and capabilities and effectively leverages the Aon network to achieve client risk objectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of risk or insurance experience, coupled with project and account management experience on mid to large accounts.
  • Strong sales skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Insurance licensing as required.
