This position is for both regular and limited service (FT) roles. All positions are on-site only. This job posting is for upcoming classes; hours, schedule, and targeted start date are discussed with recruiter.

Night shifts are highly desirable. We offer a 10% shift differential for any hours worked between 7pm and 5am.

This role involves providing customer support to some of the most vulnerable communities who need assistance navigating complex healthcare systems. - Base rate $17.20/hr. + 10% shift differential for evening shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver customer service for basic and routine inquiries and issues via multiple channels (i.e. telephone, emails, web chats, or written letters).

Handle basic and routine calls.

Utilize computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.

Provide feedback when necessary, contribute insights on call trends, processes, procedures, and training.

May respond to customer inquiries by directing them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff.

Provide timely responses to telephone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, using pre-scripted responses.

Adhere to policies and standard operating procedures such as filling out timesheets, and complying with privacy and HIPAA regulations.

Utilize standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to perform job duties.

Assist callers with completing online applications and submitting them electronically for processing.

Maintain accurate call logs related to phone inquiries, confirming which scripts were read to the caller.

Refer calls as required to CSR Lead.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client regulations and policies.

Report issues that arise via the online system to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.

Must be able to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently.

Ability to work within established turnaround times.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Must participate and certify in internal training to begin this role.

May be required to work overtime and scheduled holidays.

- Working on-site at our office location is a key requirement for this position. Being physically present at the worksite is essential for effective collaboration, communication, and supervision. Applicants must be able to perform their duties on-site and meet attendance requirements. Remote or at-home work options are not available for this role until completion of at least one year of employment with above-average performance, based on specified program criteria and at the company's discretion.

Pay Transparency

For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the location in which the employee is working, as determined by the Department of Labor. That wage rate will vary depending on locality. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
