We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Event Coordinator to join our team at SWAN Capital. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing events that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify event opportunities and objectives that align with the company's goals and community's interests
  • Execute and plan events such as workshops, festivals, fundraisers, seminars, and social gatherings for SWAN Capital
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including securing venues, permits, vendors, equipment, and catering services
  • Develop and manage events budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and adherence to financial constraints
  • Create event timelines and oversee scheduling to ensure smooth execution and adherence to deadlines
  • Develop promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and community engagement
  • Foster relationships with local partners, sponsors, and vendors to enhance event experiences and support collaborative initiatives
  • Collect and analyze feedback from community members and participants to improve future event planning
  • Stay updated on industry trends, event management best practices, and community preferences to continually enhance event offerings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field – or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within a community-focused context
  • Industry knowledge/experience preferred
  • Experience with MS Office and the ability to learn new software quickly
