About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Neogen. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise the production of products according to approved batch records and standard operating procedures.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Assist in the scheduling of production to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demands.
  • Quality Control: Supervise the filling and packaging of manufactured products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain organization and inventory control of raw materials in the warehouse to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Supervise the cleaning of manufacturing equipment and manufacturing areas to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor labor, time, and production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Procedure Compliance: Ensure that written procedures are followed to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Train and supervise manufacturing personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Participate in the recruitment and selection of manufacturing personnel to ensure we have the right people in the right roles.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with physical inventories to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Support and Backup: Provide backup to the Manufacturing Manager during their absence to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Supervise the cleaning of all areas of the facility and grounds to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Equipment Installation: Assist in the selection and installation of manufacturing equipment to ensure it meets our needs and is in good working condition.
