Revenue Cycle Director

Rincon Ambulatory Surgery Center seeks a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee the operation of Revenue Services, ensuring programs align with the facility's strategic initiatives and emphasizing customer service and revenue capture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements revenue cycle strategies to optimize revenue capture and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines, including Advanced Beneficiary Notification (ABN), Medicare as a Secondary Payer (MSP), and Patient Bill of Rights.
- Monitors employee performance and ensures adherence to department goals and hospital standards.
- Maintains current knowledge on regulatory and third-party changes affecting authorization, verification, and billing requirements.
- Prepares and submits billing data and medical claims to insurance companies, correcting rejected claims and coding errors.
- Acts as a liaison between insurers, medical offices, and patients, promoting effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or a related field.
- Seven years of progressive management-level experience, including five years in an ASC environment.
- CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager) certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of building and supporting teams and collaborative workgroups.
- Thorough knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methods.
- Knowledge of billing software and electronic medical records.
- Skill in conflict management and strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to listen actively and respond to employee, physician, patient, and payer issues in a competent manner.
