Job Summary
Sunbelt Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Director of Revenue Cycle Management to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle process, ensuring optimal performance, and driving continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the medical billing and collections process, including patient registration, insurance verification, charge/payment posting, reconciliation, billing, A/R, and denials management. They will also have experience with specialty groups like surgical centers and physical therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the revenue cycle team to achieve optimal performance and efficiency
- Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle processes and staff functions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with leadership and billing teams to resolve revenue cycle opportunities for improvement
- Present data and insights to stakeholders, including weekly team meetings and regular client meetings
- Develop and maintain relationships with payors and their interfaces
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in the revenue cycle process
- Maintain confidentiality of records and adhere to HIPAA requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (required)
- Minimum 5 years of RCM leadership experience (required)
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and applications
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
