Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries, take messages, and direct calls professionally.
  • Facilitate student registrations utilizing effective sales and customer service techniques.
  • Coordinate and oversee birthday and pool parties, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints with a professional demeanor.
  • Assist members with merchandise purchases and vending options.
  • Welcome parents and students as they arrive at the front desk.
  • Utilize the attendance tracking system to check in students.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, Snack Shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation zones.
  • Supervise the Snack Shack area and provide guidance to staff.
  • Check and respond to voicemail and email correspondence promptly.
  • Update informational displays with accurate promotions and literature.
  • Provide occasional administrative support to management personnel.
  • Make customer calls to resolve outstanding account issues.
  • Prepare daily student lesson schedules for instructors and management staff.
  • Enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and administer first aid when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the employer.

Job Requirements and Skills:
  • Ability to engage effectively with children.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience as an instructor, coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years in customer service or administrative roles required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software systems.
  • Must successfully pass background checks included with training.

Goldfish Swim School is dedicated to teaching children aged 4 months to 12 years how to swim safely and confidently. Our proven curriculum fosters a love for swimming while promoting safety in and around water.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
