We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Help Desk Project Coordinator to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery of IT services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate technology support activities, including scheduling, to ensure timely delivery of IT services.
- Provide IT support for hardware, software, and systems-related issues, and diagnose and resolve issues remotely when possible.
- Assign service calls to help desk staff/vendors via a ticketing system, ensuring activities are properly prioritized, completed, and documented.
- Track identified support metrics and regularly review findings with the IT Operations Manager to determine process improvements, proactive measures to prevent recurring issues, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Interact with users in support of the deployment of new services, technical education of users, and completion of IT projects.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide training for the technical/non-technical agency user community.
- Coordinate the inventory of IT equipment, software, etc., and enter related purchase orders.
- Conduct research on new technologies, schedule department meetings, and interact with vendors as appropriate.
- Work with the on-site manager to assist with scheduling and administrative tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of a variety of computer hardware (PC/MAC) and software.
- Experience in the delivery of exceptional customer support while adhering to IT/Security policies.
- Experience in coordinating the technical support function of an IT team.
- ITIL and management knowledge/certification is a plus.
- LAN/WAN, and relational database experience.
