Job Summary:

As a Clinical Education Program Manager at Adventist Health, you will play a critical role in coordinating and implementing orientation, training, and continuing education for clinical nursing staff. You will serve as an expert and resource to staff and managers in regard to patient care standards for the area of clinical specialty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for clinical nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Adventist Health's standards of care.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify education needs and develop strategic plans to address them.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of assigned personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Manage large programs with substantial budget and impact, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
  • Assess and evaluate employee competence, completing probationary and annual performance appraisals, and developing remediation plans as needed.
  • Exercise independent judgment in recruiting, training, coaching, supervising, and responsibly directing assigned staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master's Degree: Required
  • Five years' technical experience: Preferred
  • One year's leadership experience: Preferred
  • Experience in nursing/staff education: Preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Preferred
