Key Responsibilities:

The Speech Therapist (ST, SLP) will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient needs related to speech and language disorders, as well as providing functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive challenges.

  • Deliver services in accordance with state regulations governing speech therapy, following the established care plan and collaborating with the healthcare team.
  • Assess the patient's functional level through diagnostic tests and assist in formulating the therapy plan.
  • Facilitate effective communication for patients, tailoring approaches to their specific conditions while adhering to professional standards.
  • Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on speech therapy practices and participation.

Licensure Requirements:

  • Current licensure in Speech Therapy within the state of practice.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, along with access to reliable transportation.
