We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Certified Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and provide therapy for residents and short-term patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute individualized Speech-Language and/or Swallowing therapy plans for our patients.
  • Conduct patient screenings to determine the necessity for Speech-Language and/or Swallowing Therapy services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to communicate patient progress and any challenges in achieving therapy goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of Speech Therapy services in accordance with regulatory and payer standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Provide training and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding the specific therapy plans and follow-up recommendations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an ASHA accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA.
  • Current Texas license in good standing as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
  • Preferred experience in a geriatric rehabilitation environment.
  • Successful completion of the hiring process and background check.
