Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hands-on metallurgical evaluations in a fast-paced laboratory setting, focusing on a variety of metals.
  • Perform metallurgical tests and accurately document results in a structured report format.
  • Collaborate with various departments and clients, interpreting and adhering to engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Execute diverse metallographic analyses, including grain size assessments, microstructure evaluations, surface contamination checks, and microhardness testing.
  • Utilize advanced microscopy techniques and equipment for detailed examinations, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
  • Guide junior analysts and engineers, as well as support order entry and sample distribution processes.
  • Obtain relevant practical testing certifications, enhancing your professional qualifications.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, accompanied by at least 5 years of relevant experience in metallurgical or materials testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Laboratory Management Systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
