We are seeking a highly skilled Metallurgical Engineer to join our team at Laboratory Testing Inc. in Hatfield, PA. As a Metallurgical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing hands-on metallurgical testing, analyzing data, and providing expert recommendations to our clients.

• Perform intermediate to advanced metallurgical analyses using light optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
• Examine and interpret specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings, including ASTM, ASME, AMS, AWS, ISO, SAE, and PWA standards
• Operate specimen preparation equipment, light optical microscopes, stereoscopes, manual and automatic hardness testers, and scanning electron microscopes
• Provide guidance to junior analysts and engineers to resolve questions or issues
• Acquire and maintain practical testing certifications, such as GE E50TF133 grain size evaluation and certified welding inspection (CWI)

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, and 5+ years of experience in metallurgical or materials testing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Laboratory Management Systems and Software
• Mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, and ability to multi-task and work intermittently in an up-tempo environment
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
