NDT Material Handler

Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) is seeking a dedicated NDT Material Handler to facilitate essential operations in our advanced materials testing facility. As a Material Handler, you will be integral in managing the flow of materials, assisting our NDT technicians, and upholding our stringent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and stage materials in specified areas for efficient processing.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect and unpack deliveries, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the Supervisor.
• Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to ensure precise handling of materials.
• Transport materials to designated departments as required.
• Support NDT technicians during inspections by measuring, marking, and verifying materials.
• Prepare items for shipment, including packaging and assembling crates as necessary.
• Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to maintain an organized rack system.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the NDT areas, adhering to routine maintenance schedules.
• Comply with LTI's Quality Assurance Program and all safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Forklift operator certification is required.
• Ability to read and interpret various documents effectively.
• Capability to identify damaged or missing materials in orders.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
