Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hands-on metallurgical testing in a fast-paced laboratory environment, focusing on a variety of metals.
  • Document test results accurately and interact with various departments and clients.
  • Interpret and adhere to engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions.
  • Perform diverse metallographic tests, including grain size analysis, microstructure evaluation, surface contamination assessment, and microhardness testing.
  • Utilize light optical microscopy and other advanced techniques for both routine and complex analyses.
  • Provide guidance to team members and assist in resolving technical inquiries.
  • Maintain proficiency in practical testing certifications relevant to the field.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in metallurgical or materials testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory management software.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
